It is essential for development process to eliminate gender inequality at both levels i.e. societal and household matters. Since empowerment is a diverse and multidimensional concept and it is clear at different spheres e.g. household and community level, national and international and in different domains it is seen that is political, social and economic domain. It is an emerging issue that must be highlighted at community or individual level and also at national and international platform. It is obvious that understanding of women empowerment is lacking on all levels.
